Roberto Bernardi is an Italian artist specializing in the genre of hyperrealism. Early Life and Education
Roberto Bernardi was born in 1974 in Todi, Italy. He began drawing at a very young age, and his first oil painting dates back to the early 1980s. Bernardi dedicated a lot of time to studying various techniques of visual art, which later influenced his works. In 1993, he moved to Rome, where he worked as a restorer at the San Francesco a Ripa church. Exploring new areas, particularly landscape and portrait painting, Bernardi shifted his focus to hyperrealism. His first solo exhibition took place in 1994, and since then, the artist's works have gained recognition worldwide.
Recognition and Exhibitions
In May 2010, Bernardi appeared on the cover of "Art and Antiques," one of the most prestigious art magazines in the United States. In the same year, he was featured in "Poets and Artists" alongside his art dealer, Frank Bernarducci. In late 2012, Bernardi's paintings became part of an international museum tour on photorealism, which began at the Kunsthalle Tübingen Museum in Germany. Today, Bernardi's works are exhibited at the Bernarducci Meisel Gallery in New York.
