Arman Grigoryan

Early Life and Education

Arman Grigoryan was born in Armenia. He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Cinematography in 1959.

Career in Sound Engineering

Grigoryan began his career as a sound engineer, working on films such as:

"Path to the Arena" (1963)

"I Am a Soldier, Mama" (1966)
"Running Pacemaker" (1968)
"Moscow, My Love" (1974)

"Centaurs" (1978), where he also served as composer

Teaching and Research

Grigoryan became the head of the sound engineering department at VGIK in 1983, where he led a workshop. He currently teaches sound engineering at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography.
