Biography of Ruslan Baysarov
Ruslan Sulimovich Baysarov is a prominent Russian entrepreneur, businessman, top manager, economist, and sociologist. He was born on August 9, 1968, in a small village called Prigorodnoye in the Chechen Republic.
Education
In 1985, Baysarov graduated from school and moved to Moscow for further education. He enrolled in the Moscow Engineering and Construction Institute but had to pause his studies due to mandatory military service. After completing his military service, he transferred to the Grozny Oil Institute named after Academician M.D. Millionshchikov, where he graduated in 1996 as a certified engineer-economist. Later, he returned to Moscow and earned a master's degree in sociology from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2001. In 2018, Baysarov received his candidate of technical sciences degree from the National University of Science and Technology MISiS.
Entrepreneurial Activity
Baysarov began his entrepreneurial career while still a student, selling imported computers adapted for the Russian market. His first significant business project was a beauty salon in the Moscow Central Market, known as "Sovincentr" at that time. Together with actors Fyodor Bondarchuk and Stepan Mikhalkov, he founded the company "Infant Silver." Expanding his business, Baysarov opened a nightclub, a small casino, the only Japanese restaurant in the country at that time, and acquired an outdoor parking zone in the same center. In the late 1990s, he shifted his focus to the oil refining industry and established a private retail company that processed around 1.5 million tons of oil at a specialized plant in Moscow.
Baysarov also held various leadership positions in the fuel industry associations, including vice-president of the Moscow Fuel Association, vice-president of the Moscow Oil Company, and vice-president of the Central Fuel Company. In 2011, he became the CEO of Tuva Energy Industrial Corporation and later acquired a controlling stake in the construction company "Most."
Current Business
Currently, Ruslan Baysarov is actively involved in investments and oversees the construction of strategic infrastructure projects in different regions of Russia. Some notable projects include the construction of the "Elegest-Kyzyl-Kuragino" railway, the Nizhneleninsky-Tunzhyan Bridge connecting Russia and China, the second Baikal Tunnel, the improvement of the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Amur Mainline, the conversion of railway tracks to the common standard in the Sakhalin region, the construction of the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe Bridge, and the development of the Sabetta Arctic Port.
Family
Ruslan Baysarov is married and has six children - two daughters (Kamila and Dali) and four sons (Deni, Ilman, Amir, and Amin). He also has six dogs, including four huskies and two Labradors.
Baysarov actively participates in charitable activities, such as donating funds for cancer treatment and supporting archaeological expeditions in Tuva. In addition, he has made significant contributions to the development of innovative financial technologies, including providing funding for the PimPay service.
