Biography of Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar
Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, born on April 24, 1973, is an Indian athlete and cricket player. He is considered one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport. In 2002, the cricket almanac "Wisden" named him the second most significant test batsman of all time, ranking only behind Donald Bradman, and the second most significant one-day batsman after Viv Richards.

Cricket Achievements
In September 2007, Australian cricketer Shane Warne hailed Tendulkar as the greatest among his colleagues and rivals. Tendulkar is the only player of his generation to be honored in Bradman's Eleven, a list of the eleven best cricketers of all time. Fans and commentators refer to him as the "Little Master" or "Master Blaster." He holds the record for the most runs in both test and one-day matches, as well as the record for the most centuries in both formats. He was the first player to reach 50 centuries and has since raised the record to 80.

On October 17, 2008, Tendulkar surpassed Brian Lara's record for the most runs in test cricket. He became the first batsman to score twelve thousand runs in test cricket and the third batsman, as well as the first Indian, to reach eleven thousand runs. He also holds similar records in one-day cricket, being the first to reach ten thousand runs and the first to cross all existing thousand-run milestones.
Early Life and Career
Tendulkar was born in Bombay (now Mumbai). His elder brother, Ajit, introduced him to cricket. He began playing in the local team at Sharadashram Vidyamandir, the equivalent of a high school. During his school years, he underwent additional courses. At one point, he considered specializing in fast bowling, but his potential coach stated that Tendulkar was too aggressive for that role.
In his childhood, Tendulkar dedicated a lot of time to training, and he was considered a prodigy in school. The entire Bombay spoke of him, and there was no doubt that the young boy had a bright future ahead. A series of successful games in school competitions paved the way for his entry into professional sports, where he laid the foundation for his future records.
Personal Life and Philanthropy
In 1995, Tendulkar married Anjali, a local pediatrician and the daughter of a prominent Indian industrialist. They have two children, Sara and Arjun. The athlete actively engages in philanthropy and supports two hundred homeless children through an organization owned by his mother-in-law.
