He also compiled "Breaths of Intimacy from the Abode of Sainthood" (1476-1478), a collection of Sufi biographical sketches.
"Haft Awrang" ("Seven Thrones")
Jāmī's magnum opus is "Haft Awrang" ("Seven Thrones"), completed between 1480 and 1487. This epic cycle of seven masnavis includes:
- Salāman and Absāl
- Yūsuf and Zulaykhā- Laylā and Majnūn
- Tuḥfat al-Ahrār ("Gift to the Noble")
- Sabḥat al-Abrār ("Beads of the Pious")
- Silsilat al-Dhahab ("Golden Chain")
