Biography of Saulius Balandis
Saulius Balandis is a Soviet and Lithuanian theater and film actor. He was born in Vilnius in 1963. Balandis studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music from 1981 to 1985, under the guidance of Jonas Vaitkus. After completing his studies, he worked as an artist at the Kaunas Drama Theater from 1985 to 1988.
In 1988, Balandis began his career as an actor at the National Academic Drama Theater of Lithuania. Throughout his career, he has appeared in various films, showcasing his talent and versatility. Some of his notable film credits include "American Tragedy" (1981), "The Longest Straw" (1982), "Apologies" (1982), "My Little Wife" (1985), "The Photograph with a Woman and a Wild Boar" (1987), "The Accident" (1984), and "The Garden of Eve" (1990).
