Scott Spann: Talented American Swimmer

Scott Spann is a talented American athlete and promising swimmer. He is currently a member of the United States national team, representing his country at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

Early Life and Family

Scott Spann was born on May 11, 1988, in Austin, Texas. He comes from a family of swimmers, with his parents, Betty and Scott Spann, both having been accomplished swimmers in their time. Scott's father, also named Scott, was particularly renowned in the late 1970s and early 1980s, winning five American championships, setting five world records, and earning a bronze medal at the 1979 Pan American Games. Scott's older sister is also a swimmer, having won a gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games.

Education and Career

Scott's older brother is also involved in sports, having competed in college athletics at Blinn College. Scott himself attended Westlake High School, graduating in 2006. He then enrolled in College Major, where he is currently studying mathematics. In the future, Scott hopes to become a financial manager or a swimming coach.

Scott is a member of the Longhorn Aquatics (TXLA-TX) club and actively participates in various competitions at both the international and regional levels. Currently, he is competing in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and is determined to win one of the top honors.

Life Outside of Swimming

In his free time, Scott enjoys playing baseball and football. He also spends hours watching television, playing video games, and watching movies. One of his favorite ways to relax is getting a good night's sleep or spending quality time with his two beloved dogs.

Despite his leisure activities, Scott never misses a day of training. He swims for three hours a day, six days a week, constantly working to improve his skills and performance.

After the Olympics, Scott plans to take a well-deserved break. He looks forward to returning home and enjoying some much-needed rest and relaxation.
