Soviet and Uzbek Animator: A Multifaceted Artist

Education and Career

Born in the Soviet Union, this renowned animator, director, screenwriter, and production designer initially studied sculpture at the Kirghiz State Art College. He went on to pursue a degree at the Tashkent Theatrical and Art Institute from 1977 to 1979. This multitalented artist became a member of the USSR Artists' Union in 1983 and the USSR Cinematographers' Union in 1989.

Collaboration with "Uzbekfilm"

In 1984, he commenced his collaboration with the "Uzbekfilm" studio, contributing to both animated and live-action films. He held roles as a director, production designer, and screenwriter. Throughout his career, he has showcased his versatility in various artistic mediums, including painting, graphics, sculpture, ceramic art, and decorative arts.

International Recognition

His exceptional work has garnered numerous awards at international animation festivals and painting biennials. Since 2003, he has resided permanently in Russia.
