Biography of Sergey Balanovich

Sergey Balanovich is a Belarusian footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for the club "Amkar" and the Belarus national team. He started his football career in his hometown of Pinsk, playing for the local club "Volna".

In 2008, Balanovich received invitations to join the MTZ-RIPO and Shakhtyor Soligorsk clubs. He ultimately decided to join Shakhtyor and played for them until February 2014 when he signed a new contract with the club.

In early July 2014, Balanovich went on trial with the club "Ufa", but on August 14 of the same year, he transferred to the club "Amkar". He quickly became a key player for "Amkar" and has played both as a defender and a midfielder. His first goal for "Amkar" was scored in September 2015 in an away game against Spartak Nalchik in the Russian Cup.

Balanovich made his debut for the Belarus U21 national team in 2009, but he never played in any matches. He made his debut for the senior Belarus national team on June 7, 2012, in a friendly match against Lithuania in Minsk, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He scored his first goal for the national team on November 14, 2012, in a friendly match against Israel in Jerusalem, helping Belarus secure a 2-1 victory.

Balanovich has achieved several notable accomplishments in his career, including being a silver medalist in the Belarusian championship four times (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) and winning the Belarusian Cup in the 2013/14 season.
