Vasyl Barylko: Ukrainian Midfielder
Early Life and CareerVasyl Barylko is a Ukrainian footballer who plays as a midfielder. He is the older brother of another footballer, Volodymyr Barylko. Vasyl began his football journey at the Metalist sports school before joining the Metalist team in 2006.
Club Career
Vasyl made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier League on June 17, 2007, in a 2-0 victory against Dnipro. He entered the game as a substitute for Marko Dević in the 90th minute. In the 2008/2009 season, Vasyl played sparingly, making only three appearances in the Premier League and three in the Ukrainian Cup. However, he featured prominently in the youth team tournament, where he scored four goals in 21 matches.
