Sergei Chibar passed away on September 2, 2021, just over a month before his 31st birthday. Born and raised in Konstantinovka, Donetsk Oblast, he grew up in a loving family, according to his numerous interviews.

Chibar's fame came after participating in the culinary show "MasterChef." While he didn't win, he reached the finals, which became the catalyst for his television career. He began hosting a segment on "Incredible Truth About Stars" on the STB television channel.

Childhood Stardom

Even before his television appearances, Chibar was a childhood star. His younger brother Egor recalled that he had a fan club as early as ninth grade. "Seryozha would impersonate famous pop singers like Gurchenko, Allegrova, Pugacheva, and Grandmother's favorite, Kirkorov," Egor said. "His performances were unbeatable – applause, ovations, shouts of 'encore' and 'bravo.' He thrived on it."

Career and Personal Life

Despite his love for cooking, Chibar pursued a different educational path, earning a degree in show business management. However, he never worked in the field and instead tried his hand at trading. When that venture failed, he spent the profits from his clothing store on restaurants. His final job was as a brand chef at a restaurant in Kyiv.

Regarding his personal life, "MasterChef" judge Tatyana Litvinova revealed that Chibar had introduced his wife to her a month prior to his passing. However, it's unclear if the marriage was official or not. Years earlier, Chibar had expressed his ideal partner as "a good housewife."

Cause of Death

Emotional and physical stress contributed to Chibar's stroke. Following the closure of his project on STB, he struggled to find work, which caused him significant worry. Additionally, his mother's cancer diagnosis put a strain on him. However, he dedicated himself to her care and support, which extended her life.

Chibar's funeral was held two days before his death, but his colleagues and "MasterChef" participants were not notified. His passing is a reminder of the challenges faced by those working in the entertainment industry.
