Sergey Fedorov - Ukrainian Football Player and Defender
Sergey Fedorov is a Ukrainian football player who primarily played as a defender. He was born in Ukraine and began his football career at the SDYUSHOR Dynamo (Kiev) sports school. Fedorov made his debut for the main squad of Dynamo Kiev on March 12, 1994, in a Ukrainian Championship match against Simferopol's Tavria, which ended with a score of 4-2. Throughout his career, he also played for other clubs, including CSKA-Borisfen Kiev and Chernomorets Odessa.
Achievements
Fedorov has achieved notable success in his football career. He was a six-time champion of Ukraine, winning the title in the seasons of 1997/98, 1998/99, 1999/00, 2000/01, 2002/03, and 2003/04. Additionally, he won the Ukrainian Cup four times, in the seasons of 1999/00, 2002/03, 2004/05, and 2005/06.
International Career
Sergey Fedorov has also represented the Ukrainian national team. He played 29 matches for the national team, scoring one goal. In addition to his senior team appearances, he also played in 17 matches for the youth national team.
Playing and Coaching
In 2010, Fedorov took on the role of a player-coach for FC Zvezda (Kirovohrad). This experience allowed him to contribute not only on the field but also in the development and guidance of the team.
Recognition
For his achievements and contributions to Ukrainian football, Sergey Fedorov was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree. This recognition highlights his bravery and dedication to the sport.
