Early Life and Career

Armenian chess prodigy, born in Yerevan, Armenia, rose to prominence in the chess world as an International Grandmaster. By 1991, he had already claimed the Armenian Chess Championship title, showcasing his exceptional talent and determination.

Participation in the World Chess Olympiad

In 1996, the Armenian Grandmaster participated in the prestigious 32nd World Chess Olympiad held in his hometown of Yerevan. This tournament marked a significant milestone in his career, solidifying his position on the international stage.

International Success

Throughout his illustrious career, he achieved numerous notable victories in international competitions. His triumphs include first place in Wiesbaden (1991), shared first to third place in Schwaebisch Gmuend (1994), second place in Wiesbaden (1994), and first place in Bischwiller (1997 and 1998). Additionally, he secured second place in Bad Wildbad (2000), shared second to third place in Surfers Paradise, Australia (2000), shared third to fifth place in Darmstadt (2001), third place in Bad Wildbad (2002), and third place in Griesheim (2003).

Later Life

In 1998, the Armenian Grandmaster relocated to Germany, where he continued to pursue his chess career and share his expertise with aspiring players.
