Viktor Krashenninikov is a renowned Ukrainian jazz musician, pianist, and organizer of numerous jazz festivals throughout his career. As the Chairman of the public organization "Krashenninikov's Creative Workshop," he has played a significant role in promoting jazz music in Ukraine and internationally.

Early Beginnings

Krashenninikov's passion for jazz began during his student years at the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the city of Smila near Cherkasy. At the local radio equipment plant, he established an amateur jazz ensemble that went on to win awards at various jazz festivals.

Jazz Festivals and Collaborations

Krashenninnikov played a pivotal role in the formation of the Cherkasy Jazz Club and the organization of the "Cherkasy Jazz Days" and "Jazz - Dilijan" festivals. He also collaborated with Yuriy Grankin to form a jazz duo that performed at numerous venues in Western Europe.

Jazz Trio and Recordings

Leading a jazz trio, Krashenninikov recorded seven albums. In 2004, he embarked on a tour of the United States, performing in Iowa, Illinois, and Chicago.

In 1998, Krashenninikov became the Chairman of the public organization "Krashenninikov's Creative Workshop."
