Sergey Migitsko was born in Odessa in 1953. He graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music, and Cinematography's acting program in 1974, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned Russian actor Igor Petrovich Vladimirov.

Military Service and Theatre Debut

After graduating from the institute, Migitsko served in the army before joining the troupe of the Lensoviet Theatre. In the 1970s and 1980s, he showcased his versatility with memorable roles in productions such as "The Troubadour and His Friends," "The Snow Queen," "Last Summer in Chulimsk," "The Threepenny Opera," "Heart of a Dog," and "Talents and Admirers."
