Serhiy Shefir, co-founder of the comedy studio "Kvartal 95," has been appointed as the First Assistant to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Early Life and Education

Born in 1964, Shefir graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Mining Institute with a degree in screenwriting and producing.

Career in Comedy

Shefir's career in comedy spans over 15 years. Alongside Boris Shefir, he wrote for various KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) teams. He also co-authored popular television projects.

Co-founding of "Kvartal 95"

In 2003, Shefir, Zelenskyy, and Boris Shefir relocated from Moscow to Kyiv and established "Kvartal 95." Shefir became a co-founder and member of the writing team known as "Three Es."
