Sergei Iosifovich Trishatny (1865-?)
Born into a noble family, Sergei Iosifovich Trishatny graduated with a degree in law from St. Petersburg University. His grandfather, Alexander Lvovich, was a decorated hero of the Patriotic War of 1812, while his father, Iosif Alexandrovich, served in the Caucasus.
Union of the Russian People
Trishatny became heavily involved in politics during the Russian Revolution of 1905-1907. Along with other notable figures, he co-founded the Union of the Russian People (SRN), a nationalist and anti-revolutionary organization. He served as the first secretary of the SRN's Central Council.
Legal Career and Activities
Prior to the revolution, Trishatny worked as a sworn attorney and was associated with the anti-terrorism campaign led by P.I. Rachkovsky. He also organized the SRN's combat squads to combat revolutionary terrorists. However, he withdrew from the SRN's active leadership in 1907-1908 due to internal conflicts within the organization. From 1908 onwards, he worked as a legal consultant for the St. Petersburg Post Office.
After the Revolution
After the Bolshevik Revolution, Trishatny remained in Russia and worked as an auditor for the food committee of the Nikolaev Railway. He was arrested by the Cheka in December 1918 but was released in January 1920 due to lack of evidence of anti-Soviet activities. However, he was rearrested and sent to a labor camp. Trishatny escaped from the camp in April 1920.
Fate Unknown
Despite a search warrant issued by the Cheka, Trishatny's whereabouts after his escape remain a mystery. His ultimate fate is unknown.
