Goldvarg's collection of model cars is not only impressive in size but also in its rate of growth. In 2003, he had a mere 7,000 cars, but by 2009, the number had increased to 12,000. Sergio Goldvarg, aged 55, has always been a passionate fan of the Dark Knight. However, owning his own Batmobile seemed like an unattainable dream for many years. Nonetheless, his love for cars and Batman merged when he discovered that he was not alone in his fascination. A fellow enthusiast had created a remarkably accurate replica of the Batmobile from the classic 1966 series, which was both reasonably priced and a perfect addition to Goldvarg's collection.

The Beloved Batmobile

There are various reasons why Goldvarg is infatuated with his Batmobile. Firstly, the car is an exact replica of the one driven by Adam West in the classic 1960s series. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, Goldvarg's Batmobile is fully operational. Not many people have the opportunity to take their loved ones for a ride in a superhero's car, but Goldvarg regularly enjoys this privilege, relishing the reactions of onlookers. Powered by a 'V8 Mercury' engine, the Batmobile can reach speeds of over 190 km/h, albeit at the expense of fuel consumption. Furthermore, the car is equipped with realistic-looking Bat-gadgets, including a functioning Bat-phone and Bat-television, alongside fake but incredibly realistic Bat-radar, Bat-rocket launcher, and Bat-projector. Behind the wheel of this extraordinary automobile, even a regular architect like Goldvarg can feel like a superhero.
