Sheila Allen was born on October 22, 1932, in Chard, Somerset, England. She began her acting career in the early 1950s, performing primarily in theatrical productions, often in Shakespearean plays.

Film and Television Success

From 1955 to 2005, Allen starred in numerous films and television shows. Her debut role was in the 1955 film "The Confession," and her final appearance was in the 2005 Harry Potter film "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." In total, she amassed over 52 credits in her acting career.

Teaching and Personal Life

In addition to her acting, Allen also taught acting. One of her notable students was Michael Kitchen, who went on to become a successful actor. Allen was married to David Jones, with whom she had two sons, Joseph and Jesse. After their divorce, Allen remained single until her death.
