Early Career

Sheilla Castro, a Brazilian volleyball player, began her career in 1997 with "MacKenzie" in Belo Horizonte. From 2001 to 2004, she played for "Minas" in the same city.

International Success

Sheilla's international career took flight in 2001 when she won the World Youth Championship with the Brazilian team. She went on to claim two Olympic gold medals, in Beijing (2008) and London (2012). Additionally, she secured two World Championship silver medals (2006, 2010) and a bronze medal (2014).

Club Volleyball

Sheilla has played for various clubs throughout her career. In Italy, she won the Italian Championship with "Scavolini" (2007/08). In Brazil, she earned the Brazilian Championship title with "Uniilever" (2010/11), "São Caetano" (2008/10), and "Osasco" (2012/14). In 2014, she joined "Vakıfbank" in Turkey, where she has achieved further success.

Individual Accolades

Sheilla has received numerous individual awards for her exceptional performance. She was awarded MVP and Top Scorer of the World Grand Champions Cup (2005), and Best Spiker of the Grand Prix (2005). Additionally, she has been named MVP of the Grand Prix (2006, 2009) and the South American Championship (2011).
