Shirin Guild, the renowned Iranian-British fashion designer, was born in 1946 and grew up in Iran. However, in 1978, she moved to Los Angeles and later settled in London, where she resides to this day.

Guild's career likely began when she started creating clothes for herself. Frustrated with the lack of options in stores, Guild began sewing exquisite garments that not only pleased her but also resonated with many other women.
