Early Life and Television Career

Cecilia Sewell-Johnson, often credited simply as Cee Cee, was born on October 1, 1983, in Sherman Oaks, California (or Pontiac, Michigan, according to some sources). She made her television debut at the age of eight on the award-winning children's educational series "Sesame Street."

Cecilia went on to star in three different seasons of the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" franchise: as the young Aisha in the final episode of season three and the "Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers" miniseries, and as the teenage Aisha in the following season, "Power Rangers Zeo."

Breakthrough and Acclaim

By the age of 16, Cecilia had established herself as a promising actress in Hollywood. She starred in the hit miniseries "Mama Flora's Family" in 1998, playing the young Diana. She also appeared in Kevin Rodney Sullivan's romantic drama "Love Jones," playing Angela Bassett's niece.

"One on One" and Subsequent Roles

Throughout four seasons, Sewell-Johnson portrayed Spirit Jones, the best friend of Breanna Barnes (played by Kyla Pratt) on the sitcom "One on One." When the show underwent a creative overhaul in season five, Cecilia departed on June 20, 2005, nine episodes before the changes took place. She subsequently starred alongside Ernie Hudson, Edwin Hodge, and Jamie Gertz in the 2005 crime thriller "No More Victims."

Film and Theater Appearances

Cecilia has also appeared in the horror film "Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror" (based on a Stephen King story) and the biographical drama "Against the Grain." In 2008, she joined the cast of Nim Barnette's comedy "Super Sweet 16: The Movie."

Her theater credits include productions of "Meditation," "Scrooge," "A Christmas Carol," and "Flowers for Algernon."

Personal Life

Cecilia comes from a family of actors and has three brothers. She married drummer Chris Johnson on May 17, 2006. The couple welcomed a daughter, Madison Sierra, on November 17, 2007.

Besides acting, Cecilia enjoys dancing, rollerblading, biking, horseback riding, barrel racing, cooking, gaming, and designing and sewing her own clothing.
