Music Career

At the age of 20, Simon started working in a recording studio with local producer Jeff "Jadion" Wells. Their sessions led to the birth of his debut release, the mini-album "Alter Boy." He and Wells recorded the song "Flashback" for Disneyland's annual event, which later became a single with proceeds going to the American Society for Leukemia and Lymphoma.

In 2009, Curtis made his acting debut as Royce Du Lac in the Nickelodeon musical "Spectacular!" Towards the end of that year, he decided to focus on his music career. In approximately thirteen days, Simon and Jeff Wells recorded the album "8Bit Heart." Curtis chose to release "8Bit Heart" on his official website for free download, attracting over eight thousand subscribers on Twitter. The album was well-received by the pop community, with approximately 150,000 downloads within two weeks of its release.

Later Career

On May 6, 2010, Curtis performed as an opening act for AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys in West Hollywood, California. On May 16, 2011, he released his first single, "Superhero," from his second album "RA," along with a remix version. The album was released on June 7, 2011, and received praise for its influences from Britney Spears and Darren Hayes.

On October 12, 2013, Curtis released the free mini-album "WWW," featuring eight new songs and three alternative covers. Despite already being open about his sexual orientation, critics deemed the album's artwork "too gay."

According to a 2014 article on the music website "Popjustice," Curtis is currently part of a pop duo called "Wrathschild." The duo's debut single, "Fall Into Love," features a collaboration with Wolfy, whom Simon befriended when she was fourteen.

In "Fall Into Love," the male and female vocals complement each other rather than competing, while the duo's producer, Ray Reich, provides an epic backdrop to their dramatic voices.
