Origins

In 1999, "Tears of B." emerged from the ashes of "Klyaksa" with a unique sound devoid of guitars. Their lineup consisted of Igor "Klyaksa" on vocals and saxophone, Yuri "Pistashka" on bass, and Tatyana Veselova on drums. They were occasionally joined by session musicians such as Georgy Golodny (percussion), Anton Urazov (mouth harp and percussion), and Daniil Furman (scratching).

Goth Punk and Limited Exposure

The band's early years were marked by their distinct goth punk sound. However, they performed sparingly and gained little recognition until late 2002.

Arrival of Nik Destructor and Wider Appeal

With the addition of guitarist Nik Destructor, "Tears of B.'s" sound became heavier yet more accessible. This newfound appeal led to increased club appearances.

Lineup Changes and Genre Shift

In 2003, the group underwent significant lineup changes, with only "Klyaksa" and "Pistashka" remaining from the original iteration. They were joined by Andrei Karpov (guitar), Dmitry Nikulin (drums), and trumpet player Igor Ioakimov. This shifted their style towards goth trip-hop.

The End of an Era

In February 2004, "Tears of B." disbanded after disagreements over drug use during performances.

Creation of "Klyaksa"

From the ashes of "Tears of B." arose "Klyaksa," featuring "Klyaksa" on vocals and saxophone, Andrei Karpov on guitar and programming, and Igor Ioakimov on trumpet. Session musicians such as Yan (drums) and Dmitry (bass) completed their lineup.
