Solly McLeod, a bright star in the British acting landscape, was born on February 10, 2000, near the Scottish borders. His family subsequently moved to Orkney, a chain of islands northeast of Scotland, before settling in South London when Solly was 10 years old. As a teenager, he worked in various cafes and bars, developing a passion for the performing arts that eventually led him to The Unseen Drama School in London and Mad Fish Performing Arts in England.
Acting Career
McLeod's cinematic journey began in earnest in 2021 with appearances in two short films. One of these films, "Maximus," garnered four nominations at the Birmingham Film Festival. Soon after, he landed a role in the feature film "Mothering Sunday." The romantic comedy provided him with his first foray into cinema, alongside actresses Leah-Anne Pinnock and Ajjiona Alexus.
