Danish Musician, Producer, and Songwriter
Søren Rasted is a Danish musician, producer, and songwriter. He plays keyboards, guitar, and is responsible for accompanying the main vocal parts. Rasted was a member of the well-known Danish-Norwegian pop group Aqua, whose vocalist, Lene Nystrøm, is his spouse. They got married on May 22, 2001, in Las Vegas. After living in London for several years, Søren and Lene moved to Denmark in 2004. On November 6, 2004, Lene gave birth to their first child, a daughter named India. Their second child, a boy named Billy, was born in the spring of 2006.

Aqua and Success
Rasted and Claus Norreen, according to surveys in the United States, became two of the top pop composers and producers ever produced by the Scandinavian pop scene. Søren Nystrøm Rasted was born on June 13, 1969, in Blovstrød, Denmark. It is claimed that prior to his collaboration with Aqua, he worked as a gas station attendant. As part of the group, he and his colleague Claus came up with and recorded three albums: "Aquarium," "Aquarius," and "Megalomania." Aqua was formed in 1994 and disbanded in 2001. However, its members reunited in 2008. The popular group from the 1990s has sold over 28 million records worldwide. In addition, Aqua entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the only group to have written the first three chart-topping hits in the UK. Some of Aqua's best-known songs include "Roses Are Red," "My Oh My," "Barbie Girl," "Lollipop (Candyman)," and "Cartoon Heroes," among others. Rasted received 140 gold or platinum certification awards for albums, plus a diamond certification in Canada when album sales exceeded the one million mark. He has become the most successful songwriter in Denmark.

Solo Career and Collaborations
In 2004, Rasted released the conversational genre album "Lazyboy TV" under the stage name Lazyboy in 15 countries. The album included three popular singles: "Facts of Life," "Inhale Positivity," and "Underwear Goes Inside the Pants." Rasted has collaborated as a songwriter and producer with several Danish artists, including composing the hit song "Holler High" for the rock band Sort Sol. He recorded the best-selling album in Denmark in 2003 for the winner of the Danish competition "Popstar," which included the hits "Right Here Next to You" and "This Side Up." Rasted wrote the song "Teardrops in Heaven" for singer Sanne Salomonsen, the platinum single "Det bedste til sidst" for Linda, the winner of the "X-Factor" 2010 song contest, and the commercially successful single "Mit Et & Alt." In 2009, Søren recorded three new Aqua songs: "Back to the 80's," "Live Fast – Die Young," and "My Mamma Said." The platinum single "Back to the 80s" broke all records for the number of plays on Danish radio, surpassing the previous record holder, the song "Maneater." Another single, "My Mamma Said," also achieved platinum status. This song was recorded by Rasted in his "Elektron Studio" in Copenhagen.

Recent Projects
In 2011, Rasted, together with Claus Norreen, René Dif, and Lene Nystrøm, recorded the album "Megalomania." Two singles from the album, "How R U Doin'" and "Playmate to Jesus," became big hits. Following the album's release, Aqua embarked on a tour of Europe and Australia. In 2012, Rasted opened his own label, "LabelLand." In the same year, he and his nephew Nicolaj Rasted came up with songs and recorded music for Jonathan Spang's comedy film "Talenttyven" ("The Talent Thief"). Once again reminding of his alter ego, in 2012, Rasted, under the name Lazyboy, released the track "2012 Shift Happens," recorded at "Electron Studio."
