Biography of Polish Violinist Bronisław Huberman
Early Life and EducationBronisław Huberman was born in Częstochowa, Poland. He received his musical education at the Moscow Conservatory under Professors Laub and Grжимали. In 1876, he completed the full course with a diploma as a "free artist" and a medal.
Artistic Success Abroad
In 1878, Huberman made his first major artistic debut abroad by participating in a Russian concert led by Nikolai Rubinstein at the Salle Trocadéro during the Paris World's Fair. He played exclusively works by Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
