Stanislav Galkovsky: Belarusian Journalist and Inventor
Stanislav Galkovsky is a Belarusian journalist who has worked as a correspondent for the newspaper "Vecherniy Gomel", the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Selmashevets", and the own correspondent for the Second National Television Channel (ONT). He is currently a foreign correspondent for the publishing house "Belarus Segodnya".
Education and Career
Galkovsky graduated from Gomel City Lyceum No. 1 (where he wrote the lyrics for the lyceum's anthem) and the Faculty of Physics at Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. He began his journalistic career with various newspapers before joining ONT.
Culinary Invention
In 2012, Galkovsky created a unique cutlery item called the "hockey stick fork". A prototype was produced, and it was intended to become a souvenir for the 2014 Ice Hockey World Championship in Minsk. However, the fork was never mass-produced.
Personal Life
Stanislav Galkovsky is married to Ksenia Anatolevna Galkovskaya. They have two sons: Mikhail Stanislavovich Galkovsky and Gleb Stanislavovich Galkovsky.
