Early Life & Education
Stanislav Ilyasov was born in 1959. In 1980, he graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute with a degree in electrical engineering.
Career
1975-1987:Held various positions in the energy industry, including working as a master, senior master, and chief of the Kizlyar distribution electrical networks.
1987-1990:Elected deputy chairman and later chairman of the Kizlyar executive committee.
1990-1997:Held leadership roles in various energy companies in Makhachkala, Pyatigorsk, and Stavropol, including as deputy general director and general director of the United Energy System of the North Caucasus.
1997-1999:First deputy chairman and subsequently chairman of the government of Stavropol Krai.
1999:Ran unsuccessfully for governor of Stavropol Krai.
2001:Appointed acting chairman of the government of the Chechen Republic.
Minister of the Russian Federation for Coordination of Activities in the Chechen Republic
On November 7, 2002, Ilyasov was appointed Minister of the Russian Federation for Coordination of Activities in the Chechen Republic. In this role, he oversaw the coordination of federal government agencies involved in the socio-economic development of the region.
