Early Life and Career

Stefano Sturaro, an Italian footballer, was born in the seaside town of Sanremo, Italy. His football journey began at the academy of local club Sanremese. In 2008, he moved to Genoa's academy, where he won his first trophy in 2010 as part of the team that conquered the Italian Youth Super Cup.

Professional Debut and Time at Genoa

In 2012, Sturaro embarked on a one-year loan to Modena, making his professional debut in a Coppa Italia match against Südtirol. Upon returning to Genoa, he made his Serie A debut in 2013 and notched his first club goal against Catania.

Move to Juventus

The following season, Sturaro was acquired by reigning Serie A champions Juventus. He initially remained on loan at Genoa but was recalled the next season. In March 2015, he made his Juventus debut in a Serie A match against Palermo. That same season, he also made his Champions League debut against Monaco. Sturaro's impact helped Juventus secure the league and Coppa Italia titles.

Rise in Stature

In 2015/16, Sturaro played a key role in Juventus's triumph in the Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Italian Super Cup. He scored his first Champions League goal in the round of 16 against Bayern Munich.

International Career

Sturaro's international journey began with Italy's youth teams in 2011. He made his debut for the senior team in June 2016 under the guidance of Antonio Conte, his former manager at Juventus.
