Early Life and Career

Zenovich graduated from Vilnius University and embarked on his teaching career in 1814 as a chemistry, mineralogy, and geognosy instructor at the Volyn Gymnasium (later Lyceum). He expanded his curriculum to include technology.

Professorship and University Administration

With the establishment of St. Vladimir University in Kiev in 1834, Zenovich was appointed as an ordinary professor of chemistry. In 1837, he assumed the role of dean of the second department of the philosophical faculty. Zenovich retired from these positions in 1839.

Literary Endeavors

Zenovich left behind a substantial body of written works, including "Pami?tniki z czasow Stanis?awa Augusta," which historian Joachim Lelewel cited in his "Histoire de Pologne."

Scientific Proposals and Contributions

In 1837, Zenovich submitted his treatise "On the Necessity of Changing the General Foundations of the Sciences, All Theories, and Systems" to the Academy of Sciences, hoping for their approval before publishing a new theory of chemistry. However, he did not receive a response.

Published Writings

Some of Zenovich's published works include "List do Henryka hr." and a series of essays on "Meteorological Observations in Kiev."
