Joining PlaceboSteve Forrest, the drummer of the rock band 'Placebo', joined the group after their previous drummer, Steve Hewitt, left. Born in Turlock, California, Steve Forrest is 23 years old.
Early Career
Steve Forrest began his musical journey in 2001 with the band Holiday, later renamed Evaline. It was in 2006 that Steve first crossed paths with Placebo when Evaline opened for them during their US tour. In January 2007, Steve announced his decision to leave Evaline, but he stayed with the band until the completion of their tour in the United States.
Musical Influences
Steve Forrest's creative biography reveals that he has been influenced by various personalities such as John Bonham, Dennis Chambers, Dino (Dredg), Elvis Presley, and his own father, Mark Forrest. His music tastes are diverse and include artists such as Dredg, The New Amsterdam's, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, Matisyahu, Bear vs. Shark, Hieroglyphics, Mac Dre, and Pink Floyd.
Discovery of Placebo
