He withdrew from the tournament due to injuries sustained in previous rounds, handing the victory to Greg Page.
Transition to Professional Boxing
Shortly after the National Championships, Zouski embarked on his professional boxing career. His debut fight on August 3, 1978, resulted in a points victory over experienced opponent Joe May. A series of wins followed, including a knockout against Johnny Blaine in October 1978.

From December 1978 to September 1979, Zouski continued his winning streak against various opponents. His first defeat came on February 27, 1980, when he lost to Leroy Boone in a 10-round bout.
