Biography of Sukhinder Singh Cassidy
Sukhinder Singh Cassidy is currently the Vice President of Google for Operations in Asia, the Pacific region, and Latin America. In this role, she oversees all of Google's sales operations in these regions. Sukhinder also leads the company's efforts in local search and channels worldwide.
Before joining Google, Sukhinder was a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Yodlee.com Inc. Yodlee is a leading company that provides solutions for the global financial services system. From 1999 to 2003, she was responsible for building Yodlee's customer base and revenue. Sukhinder signed agreements with companies such as Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Bank of America, Wachovia, Yahoo!, Microsoft, and AOL.
Her work at Yodlee and in the industry earned Sukhinder recognition from publications such as Business Week Online, Canada Post, and the book Innovation Nation, which lists leading Canadian businessmen. Prior to joining Yodlee, Sukhinder worked in the strategy and business development field in Silicon Valley for leading e-commerce providers Amazon.com and Junglee Corporation. She also collaborated with investment bank Merrill Lynch and pay television provider British Sky Broadcasting in New York and London.
Sukhinder completed her education at the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
