Early Life and Career

Sun Tiantian, a professional Chinese tennis player, was born on October 12, 1981, in Zhengzhou, Henan, China. Standing at 175 cm and weighing 65 kg, she plays with a right-handed grip and a two-handed backhand. Sun began her professional career in 1999.

Success in Singles and Doubles

In singles, Sun has won one WTA title and six ITF titles. Her highest WTA ranking in singles was 77, achieved on March 19, 2007. In doubles, she has been ranked as high as number 16 in the world on October 22, 2007.

ITF Tournament Victories

Throughout her career, Sun has consistently secured victories in ITF tournaments. In 2000, she won two ITF tournaments with a prize fund of $10,000. She repeated this success in 2001, winning another two tournaments. In 2002, she stepped up her game, winning two $25,000 tournaments in Ho Chi Minh City and Beijing.
