Susan Hampshire is an English talented film and television actress, the recipient of various awards and honors, including the Order of the British Empire (OBE). She was born on May 12, 1937, in London, and was the youngest of five children. Hampshire had a brother and two sisters. Her mother was a teacher, and her father also worked in a profession. Her parents divorced before she was born, and as a result, she did not receive much attention from her father. During her childhood, the actress suffered from dyslexia, which made it difficult for her to learn to read, and Susan faced great difficulties. It was also challenging for her because her mother's pedagogical profession hindered her ability to perceive what was happening with her daughter accurately. Her mother forced her to push beyond her own capabilities. As a result, Susan refused to continue her education in the school founded by her mother and left her studies.

Early Career in Theatre and Film
Initially, Susan Hampshire passionately dreamed of becoming a nurse, but later, as a teenager, she started performing in one of the theaters.
