Susie Amis is an American film actress and model. She was the face of the Ford company in the 1980s.

Early Life and Career
Susie Amis was born on January 5, 1962, in Oklahoma, USA. She graduated from an acting studio and made her film debut in 1985 in Kevin Reynolds' comedy "Fandango." It was during this film that she met her future husband, actor Sam Robards, the son of actor Jason Robards Jr. and actress Lauren Bacall. They were married from 1985 to 1993.

Rise to Fame
After "Fandango," Susie appeared in a Off-Broadway production of "Fresh Horses" and then played the role of Aggie Donaldson in the 1987 film "The Big Town." She showcased her acting talent with her transformations in the western film "The Ballad of Little Joe" in 1993, playing a young woman, Josephine 'Joe' Monaghan, who disguised herself as a man, 'Little Joe,' for 30 years to survive the harsh times in the Wild West. Unfortunately, the film's box office performance was not as successful, despite its critical acclaim.
Later Career
Susie continued to climb the career ladder with supporting roles in various films, including Robin Torrens in the comedy "Plain Clothes" in 1988, Egg Rockwell in the drama "Rocket Gibraltar" in 1988, Ray Odom in Bruce Beresford's film "Rich in Love" in 1993, and Kate Dade in the thriller "Blown Away" in 1994 (alongside Jeff Bridges). She portrayed Edie Finneran in the award-winning film "The Usual Suspects" with Kevin Spacey and Gabriel Byrne, and also appeared in James Cameron's blockbuster "Titanic" in 1997, playing the role of Lizzy Calvert, the granddaughter of the elderly Rose (actress Gloria Stuart). In the same year, she worked with Tom Selleck in the western film "Last Stand at Saber River," portraying the character of Martha Cable. Personal Life
Susie Amis is married to Canadian director James Cameron since July 4, 2000. They have three children together: Claire (born April 4, 2001), and twins Quinn and Elizabeth (born December 29, 2006). Susie also has a son named Jasper from her previous marriage to Sam Robards.
