Talgat Baisufinov: A Legendary Footballer and Coach
Early Life and Club CareerTalgat Baisufinov was born in the city of Pavlodar, Kazakhstan. He began his football career in the local club, Pavlodar Football Club, where he debuted in 1985. Over the course of several seasons, Baisufinov made 180 appearances for Pavlodar, scoring 26 goals. He also had stints with Metallurg Yermak, Yenbek Zhezkazgan, Zhetysu Taldykorgan, Mangystau Aktau, Ekibastuzets Ekibastuz, and Vostok Ust-Kamenogorsk.
International Career
Baisufinov played a pivotal role in the history of Kazakhstan's national football team. On June 1, 1992, he made his debut in the country's inaugural international match against Turkmenistan, becoming one of the founding players of the Kazakhstani national squad.
Coaching Career
After retiring from playing, Baisufinov transitioned to coaching. He led Aksu Stepnogorsk, coached Yesil-Bogatyr, and joined Irtysh Pavlodar as a coach in 2008. In 2009, he served as acting head coach of Irtysh, leading the team to three victories in the Kazakhstan Championship and the Kazakhstan Cup.
Bronze Medal Glory
Under Baisufinov's guidance, Irtysh Pavlodar achieved remarkable success in the 2010 Kazakhstan Championship, securing the bronze medal position.
UEFA Coaching License
Baisufinov continued his professional development as a coach by participating in the UEFA Jira program. In 2009, he obtained his UEFA A coaching license, enabling him to work as a head coach in the Kazakhstan Premier League. In 2011, he upgraded to a UEFA Pro license, granting him the authority to manage top-division teams and national teams.
