Early Life and Corinthians CareerMarquinhos was born in São Paulo, Brazil, on May 14, 1994. He began his football journey at the esteemed Corinthians youth academy, where he excelled and played a pivotal role in their 2012 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior triumph. That same year, he made his debut for Corinthians' senior team in the Campeonato Paulista, showcasing his defensive prowess throughout the game.
Transfer to Roma
In August 2012, Roma secured Marquinhos' services for €1.5 million, with an additional €3 million option for a permanent contract. Though his time in Italy was brief, he played a significant role for the Giallorossi, developing his skills and contributing to the team's success.
Breakout at Paris Saint-Germain
Marquinhos joined Paris Saint-Germain in July 2013 for a hefty €31.4 million. Since then, he has become an integral part of their defense, helping the club secure numerous titles, including three Ligue 1 championships, two Coupe de France victories, and four Coupe de la Ligue triumphs.
