Biography of Tangi Miller
Tangi Miller is an African-American actress, model, and dancer. She was born on February 28, 1974, in Miami, Florida, USA. As the oldest of six children, television was not allowed in their household due to their religious beliefs. While attending high school, Miller began performing in stage productions. She briefly worked as a stripper for three months but left to focus on her academic performance. She did not plan to become an actress and initially studied marketing at the State University of Alabama.
Acting Career
After appearing in the HBO comedy series "Arli$$" in 1996 and the CBS drama series "Michael Hayes" in 1997, Miller continued to pave her way to fame. She became a member of Warner Brothers' hit series "Felicity," portraying the refined and elegant Elena Tyler. Recently, Tangi Miller was named one of the "Sexiest Faces" by the North American magazine "TV Guide." She starred alongside actor Mekhi Phifer in the independent film "The Other Brother" in 2002, playing the role of Paula. Miller also played the lead role of Emily Woodrow in Steven Ayromlooi's horror film "Leprechaun 6: Back 2 tha Hood." She portrayed Donna in Tyler Perry's comedy "Madea's Family Reunion." In addition, the stunning actress appeared in the series "East Park," played Dina Bishop in the series "Division," Rebecca Wims in "The Shield," Cynthia in the series "Living with Fran," and lent her voice to the animated series "Kim Possible." From her recent acting roles, it is worth noting her involvement in the drama "Hurricane in the Rose Garden" and the comedies "Drones," "Love... & Other 4 Letter Words," and "My Girlfriend's Back." Alongside her acting and modeling career, Tangi is passionately interested in Afro-Caribbean dance and also directs and produces films. She is a member of a Los Angeles dance troupe founded in Africa and performs in West African countries such as Cameroon and Ghana. Miller served as a producer for the Ghanaian film "Police Officer 3" and the Los Angeles independent film "After School." In April 2006, she became a producer for the third film, "Love & Other 4 Letter Words."

In the August 1999 issue of "Ebony" magazine, Miller was named the "Hottest Up-and-Coming Hollywood Star."
