Childhood and Early Life
Born on November 5, 1979, in Paris to Moroccan parents, Tarek Boudali spent his childhood in the western suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt. His mother's passion for photography is evident in the family photos shared on his social media platforms. A keen soccer enthusiast, Boudali played skillfully and attracted the attention of local clubs in Hauts-de-Seine. However, he prioritized family over pursuing a professional sports career.
Education and Early Career
Despite his athletic prowess, Boudali ultimately chose to excel in academics, earning a Higher National Diploma (BTS) in Business Management. During this time, he met Julien Arruti, a pivotal encounter that led to their collaboration with Paco Bouisson and Philippe Lacheau, forming the comedy troupe La Bande à Fifi. They honed their comedic skills through television appearances before making their mark in theater and cinema.
Breakthrough Projects
In 2008, La Bande à Fifi's theatrical debut "Who Killed the Dead Man?" showcased Boudali's talents. Two years later, he entered the film world with roles in "Heartbreaker" and "The Italian." His breakthrough came with the "Super Nanny" franchise, where he not only played Sam but also co-wrote the screenplay. As writer, director, and actor, Boudali's credits expanded with "Marry Me, Dude," "Taxi 5," and "Super Cops: Mission Nanny."
Acting Success
Boudali's filmography continued to grow with "Undercover Lover," "Superbad," the "Alibi.com" duology, and "That's Not My Problem!" Alongside his comedy comrades, he has collaborated with notable actors such as Artus and Pauline Clément. Boudali has also lent his voice to Max in the French version of "The Secret Life of Pets 2."
Personal Life
Preserving his privacy, Boudali refrained from discussing his personal life until 2020. Amidst rumors of a romance with Miss France 2015 Camille Cerf, he clarified that he was single and didn't actively seek love, believing it would come naturally. Nevertheless, Boudali expressed his desire for fatherhood.
Current Projects
In 2023, Boudali reunited with Philippe Lacheau and Julien Arruti for the films "Alibi.com 2" and "Super Cops: Mission Granny." During the latter's production, Boudali confronted his fear of cockroaches, a significant triumph that he attributes to his determination to deliver an unforgettable performance.
