Early Life and Education
Born on December 1, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland, the astronaut hailed from humble beginnings. In 1985, they graduated from Oakland Mills High School in Columbia, Montana. Their academic journey continued at the United States Air Force Academy, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1989. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1997.
Military Service
After completing their education, the astronaut proudly served in the United States Air Force. They were stationed at Edwards Air Force Base, where they gained valuable experience in aviation and aerospace.
NASA Career
