Humble Beginnings in Thousand OaksIn 2011, a group of musically inclined individuals came together in the Californian town of Thousand Oaks to form The Neighbourhood. The group's lineup comprised vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zack Abels, bassist Mikey Margott, and drummer Brandon Fried.

After releasing two EPs, "I'm Sorry..." and "Thank You," The Neighbourhood made their mark with their debut studio album, "I Love You," on April 23, 2013.
