Thierry Mugler, a French fashion designer, couturier, and perfumer, was born on December 21, 1945 in Strasbourg, France. As a child, Mugler was a dreamer and loner who had more interest in drawing than in school. At the age of 9, he began studying classical ballet and eventually joined the ballet company of the Opéra national du Rhin, known for its discipline and strictness.
