Biography of Thomas Hall

Thomas Hall, a British citizen, was a violent criminal and paranoid schizophrenic. During his active period in the latter half of 1888, he quickly became known as the Jack the Ripper, having killed 28 women, many of whom were prostitutes. If it weren't for Thomas Hall's swift actions, the number of victims by the unknown maniac would have surpassed 10,000. In just one hour, Hall managed to rape three British prostitutes and attempted to rape a fourth.

Imprisonment and Treatment

Currently, Thomas Hall is indefinitely confined in a high-security psychiatric hospital. He received this punishment for committing a heinous crime. In less than an hour, this paranoid schizophrenic managed to carry out three rapes and make an impressive attempt at a fourth. Shortly after the fourth attack, Hall even boasted about his achievements in a phone conversation with a friend, openly stating that this night was the best in his life.

The Hunting Ground and Bail

Hall began his spree near Piccadilly station in Manchester. He was only able to roam free due to posting bail, which he secured a month prior when he committed another rape. Whether it was appropriate to release such a criminal on bail is a debatable question, especially considering Hall's history of mental health issues since his teenage years. Authorities have learned from this mistake, and now Thomas can only be released from the psychiatric hospital with the permission of medical professionals and members of a special commission. Under normal circumstances, Hall would have faced decades behind bars; however, his health problems forced the judge to hand the case over to specialists.

The Voice Within

According to Thomas himself, the voices in his head drove him to commit the series of rapes. However, this does not diminish the fact that Hall's behavior poses a clear threat to society. He has already pleaded guilty to all charges brought against him, and his future remains uncertain. Most likely, Thomas will have to undergo various medical procedures. Hall was first noticed in the evening near the building of the charitable project "Manchester Action for Street Health," where witnesses reported that he made derogatory comments towards prostitutes.

The Crimes

At 8:30 pm, Hall approached his first victim and, after leading her to an industrial area, grabbed her by the throat, covering her mouth, and raped her. He then dragged his second victim to a wooded park area and attempted to rape her. However, the woman managed to deceive the maniac by pretending to be pregnant. Hall's third victim was also attacked in a field, but she too was able to escape his clutches. The last assault occurred around 9:30 pm, after which the police apprehended Hall.
