Biography of Timothy Kopra
Timothy Kopra is an American astronaut-researcher at NASA. He was born on April 9, 1963, in Austin, Texas, USA.
Education
In 1981, Kopra graduated from McCallum High School in Austin, Texas. He then attended the United States Military Academy, where he earned a bachelor's degree in computers in 1985. Later, in 1995, he obtained a master's degree in aerospace studies from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Work
Kopra has recently been employed at the NASA Johnson Space Center, where he has been involved in various space exploration activities.
Space Exploration
On July 27, 2000, Timothy Kopra was selected as part of the 18th group of astronauts at NASA. He has since contributed to numerous space missions and research endeavors.
