Biography of Tina Aumont
Tina Aumont (French: Tina Aumont, February 14, 1946 – October 28, 2006) was a French actress. Maria Christina Aumont was born in Hollywood to the family of actors Jean-Pierre Aumont and Maria Montez. At the age of 16, in 1963, she married actor and producer Christian Marquand. In 1966, she made her film debut under the name Tina Marquand in the movie "Modesty Blaise". She later appeared in films directed by various Italian directors, such as Alberto Sordi ("Scusi, lei è favorevole o contrario?", 1966), Tinto Brass ("L'urlo", 1968 and "Salon Kitty", 1976), Mauro Bolognini ("Libera, amore mio!", 1973), Francesco Rosi ("Cadaveri eccellenti", 1976), and Federico Fellini ("Fellini's Casanova", 1976). In 2000, she retired from acting. Later, she was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism and passed away on October 28, 2006, in the French town of Port-Vendres.
