Biography of Tobias Moretti
Tobias Moretti is an Austrian theater and film actor, director, and musician. He was born on July 11, 1959, with the real surname Bloeb. Moretti's mother's maiden name was Moretti, which he adopted as his stage name. His mother, who was Italian, influenced his passion for music from a young age.

Education and Career in Theater
Moretti studied composition at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts. However, despite his exceptional musical abilities, he discovered his true calling as an actor. He enrolled in the Otto Falckenberg School of Acting in Munich, where he quickly caught the attention of the Residenz Theater and the Kammertheater. Since 1986, Moretti has been an actor at the Munich Theater "Kammerspiele".

International Recognition
Moretti's fame reached Russia and the rest of the world through his role as Police Inspector Richard Moser in the television series "Kommissar Rex". He showcased his musical talents in the series, playing the piano, organ, guitar, clarinet, and percussion instruments. In addition to his acting career, Moretti is an avid sports enthusiast, engaging in activities such as rock climbing, skiing, sledding, canoeing, and motorcycle racing.

He recently directed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera "Don Giovanni" in theaters in Bregenz and Zurich.
