Tolga Sarıtaş: A Rising Star from Istanbul
Early Life and YouthTolga Sarıtaş was born on May 30, 1991, in Istanbul, Turkey. From a young age, he was drawn to music, attending guitar and percussion lessons after school. Throughout his adolescence, he actively participated in various musical groups, performing at concerts and events.
Transition to Acting
Despite his musical talents, Sarıtaş harbored a dream of acting. After graduating high school, he pursued his passion by joining the Esenyurt Belediye Theater.
Cinematic Debut
In 2009, Sarıtaş made his cinematic debut in the Turkish drama "Kara Bulut" ("Black Cloud"), where he played a minor role. He continued to appear in episodic roles until his breakthrough performance in the acclaimed historical series "Muhteşem Yüzyıl" ("Magnificent Century").
"Muhteşem Yüzyıl" and International Recognition
From 2013 to 2015, Sarıtaş portrayed Şehzade Cihangir, the eldest son of the Ottoman sultan, in "Muhteşem Yüzyıl." His performance, coupled with his striking blue eyes, endeared him to audiences worldwide. The series catapulted him to stardom and opened doors to numerous collaborations with renowned Turkish directors and brands.
