Biography of Tolkyin Zabirova

Tolkyin Zabirova is a Kazakhstani pop singer who was born in the city of Ayaguz, Semipalatinsk region. She showed her talent for music at a young age and in 1979, she enrolled in the Republican Music School named after A. Zhubanov, specializing in choral conducting. In 1988, she successfully completed her studies at the school.

In the same year, Zabirova began her studies at the Alma-Ata State Conservatory named after Kurmangazy, majoring in solo singing under the guidance of Professor B. Tulegenova. She excelled in her studies and graduated with honors in 1993.

From 1993 to 1995, Zabirova worked as a soloist at the Kazakh State Philharmonic named after Zhambyl. Since 1995, she has been working as a vocal pedagogy teacher at the Almaty State Conservatory named after Kurmangazy.

In addition to her teaching career, Zabirova continued her education and completed her postgraduate studies at the Almaty State Conservatory from 1997 to 2000. On May 28, 2010, she defended her dissertation to obtain a candidate of sciences degree in the field of musical art.

Throughout her career, Zabirova has participated in various international competitions and has been recognized as a laureate of multiple international pop music competitions.
